East Finchley is an area in north London, in the London Borough of Barnet, and situated 5.4 miles (8.7 km) north-west of Charing Cross. Geographically it is somewhat separate from the rest of Finchley, with North Finchley and West Finchley to the north, and Finchley Central to the west.
Mill Hill East is a popular residential district within the Mill Hill NW7 postcode area to the South West of Mill Hill Broadway and borders Finchley, Woodside Park and the Holders Hill part of Hendon.
Finchley residents enjoy a calm and soothing environment made up of quiet leafy streets lined with picturesque period homes. Its well positioned location allows access to several beautiful woodlands, a far cry from the landscaped parks of central London.
